Swimming Pool Lights


The Powerite PAL-2000 Pool and Spa Lights are a unique New Australian Made and Developed Underwater Pool and Spa lighting system suitable for Spa's, Bath's, Pond's, Above Ground or Concrete/Fibreglass Inground Pools.

A soft evenly distributed light is now possible from the moulded prismatic lens design that provides the PAL-2000 with an outstanding illumination eliminating the end shadow effect common with other existing pool lights, all this with a 10,000 hour life lamp.

The PAL-2000 operates from a safe 12V supply and fully complies with IEC 598-2-18, IEC/AS/NZS 60598.2.18 (Underwater Lights IPX8) and UL 676 listing pending.

The PAL-2000 has a unique extraction system to allow the light to be removed from the pool wall with no tools when the lamp has to be replaced as illustrated above. The PAL-2000 Unique Underwater light is available in two different models depending on its application:

Lamp Replacement Instructions for Fixed PAL-2000R Fitting

  1. Remove the "Clip-On" Lens Cover on the PAL-2000R and twist the body in a anti-clockwise direction to retract the fitting from the housing.
  2. Unscrew the (6) six lens screws to unclip the lamp from the lamp socket as shown on the Assembly drawing.
  3. Replace the Lamp. Note: To ensure reliable operation of your PAL-2000 it is essential to use a genuine PAL-2000R Lamp/Seal Replacement kit part no. 39-2DL50 or FNV/CG 50 watt Xenon Lamp with UV Cover Glass. When the Lamp is replaced it is recommended to maintain the water tight seal that the "O" ring be also replaced, the "O" ring seal is supplied with the Lamp/Seal replacement kit.
  4. When reassembling the PAL-2000R fitting ensure the "O" ring is sitting correctly and replace the (6) lens screws and ensure the screws are not overtightened.
  5. Feed the wire back into the body and twist the fitting in a clockwise direction to lock into position.
