Accent Lighting

A quick way to add drama to a landscaped garden.

Accent lighting uses directional spotlights and uplights to emphasise individual plants, focal points or other features so that they stand out within the view.

For example you might place a spotlight near the base of a statue (pictured). Usually a 20w 38deg lamp is all that is required to achieve an excellent result.

The Light fitting (luminaire) can be mounted in or on the ground, or on a structure or tree.

Tip: This technique is very effective but should be used sparingly.
